2.3 Order of precedence. In the event of a conflict between the
text of this specification and the references cited in 2.1.1, 2.1.2,
and 2.2, the text of this specification shall take precedence.
3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Description. The crane shall be four wheel drive, pneumatic
tired, diesel engine driven, wheel-mounted, full revolving hydraulic
telescoping boom, container crane. The crane shall conform to OSHA,
ANSI, and PCSA standards as applicable.
3.1.1 Rated load. Rated load (see 6.8.1) for the crane shall be as
specified by the load rating chart for the required radius.
3.1.2 Physical characteristics.
3.1.2.1 Weight. With the crane fully fueled and serviced, the axle
weight shall not exceed 59,000 pounds for the heaviest axle. Maximum
allowable vehicle weight shall be 111,000 pounds.
